2013 Recruits: The Harrison Twins

This 2013 class has some of best talent in the country, but these two guys are something we have not seen in a while.

Andrew and Aaron Harrison are both twins who are taking this 2013 class by storm with their physical strengths and skills on the court. Both are 6’5 guards and both weighing in at a little over 200 pounds. What can I say, they both dominate the game with ease. Their biggest strengths is their ball handling and their ability to get to the rim. If they are playing against smaller guards they can easily out power them, and if they are playing against a bigger guard they can easily go around them. Where ever these two decided to go they will instantly bring a winning mentality.

In high school they lead their team to a 36-4 record, and where undefeated in conference play. They are ranked third in the state of Texas, and eighth nationally. Their chemistry is just unparalleled compared to other players. They have played basketball together from the start. They know each other’s weaknesses and strengths, and they will push each other to perform at their highest levels every day. On the court they are the most focused players out there, and their main objective,"is to win". Andrew, ranked third in the nation, is the top point guard in the nation averaging 17 points and eight assists per game. While Aaron, ranked eighth in the nation, is one of the best shooter in the nation averaging 21 points and seven rebounds. They both push each other to be the best, in the Under Armour event Andrew went down with an ankle injury, but Aaron took control and dropped 42 points in the semifinal game. This just shows how even one of them alone can dominate the game. Together on the court they are just about unstoppable.

Now off the court they are just normal people. Some people think that elite athletes are just cocky and full of themselves, but these guys are different. The will stop for fans and answer any questions or sign autographs. They love basketball and take it seriously, but it is not their life completely. Outside the court the hang out with friends and do normal things like helping others. Overall these two will turn around any program. Right now they are considering Maryland, Kentucky, Baylor, and Villanova. Who ever lands these two will have the best duo in the nation, just like Kentucky did with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Anthony Davis. We will have to wait to find out, but in the mean time everyone go follow these two on twitter and show them some love: @AaronICE2 and @DrewRoc5.
